Penhaligon's is a British perfume house founded by William Penhaligon in 1870. Penhaligon was a Cornish barber who moved to London and became the court barber and perfumer to Queen Victoria. In 1870, he opened his own shop in Jermyn Street, London, and started selling his own fragrances.
